Hurricane Help for Schools
The U.S. Department of Education has developed this web site aimed at getting supplies to schools serving students affected by Katrina. Ready-or-Not
Launched April 2006, the Ready-or-Not program (a non-commercial public service initiative) is a resource for communities looking for sources of information when disasters are looming. This online Ready-or-Not website service is ideally suited and designed for civic minded organizations with access to citizens in their community.
